Here are some gift ideas we've collected. They're all things we know we'd like to be given.
Please note that we do not sell any of these items ourselves. In some cases we do make "affiliate" commissions if we refer a paying customer. However, these commissions do not add to the cost to you and we promise not to let the possibility of a commission take precedence over the honest opinions we give you in our descriptions.
Framed Print of Mount Katahdin, by Carr Clifton
AllPosters.com offers fine art prints like this one (and hundreds of others) mounted on wood for about $100 plus $14 shipping. You can also have it framed traditionally, or just buy the print itself for much cheaper. The mounted option is neat -- it comes permanently bonded to a wood backing (with a beveled black edge) that's braced on the back so that it appears to "float" on the wall.

Lost Boston
From an Amazon.com reader: "What a treat to have this updated version of the author's classic history of Boston. The photos still resonate with the sadness of their loss and the beauty of their existence. But this isn't just a coffee table book. It remains the best history of this fascinating old, and new, city."
